SilverCreek Villa
SilverCreek Villa is a 4 bedroom / 3
bathroom house with a kids den and Games Room at the newly built Silver
Creek community. It has a 28ft through lounge with cable TV/DVD/CD and leads
directly to the covered lanai beside a 30ft x 15ft pool and spa. The south
east facing house backs onto conservation land and is within a 15 min drive
of Disney.
The Silver Creek Community has recently been
built and consists of approximately 100 houses of varying sizes and designs.
It is surrounded on three sides by conservation land and offers a tranquil
setting even though it is only 15/20 minutes from Disney and other Orlando
attractions. The development is managed by a Home Owners Association who
ensure the community is maintained to a high standard including all lawn and
landscape maintenance. Silver Creek is only 30 minutes from Orlando
International Airport and approx 1 hour from Sanford Airport. Whilst the
local attractions are a great reason to stay at SilverCreek Villa, the
Atlantic and Gulf beaches are only 60 and 90 minutes away by car.
SilverCreek Villa was built in 2004 and was originally designed with 5
bedrooms but my wife and I decided it works best as a 4 bedroom house
consisting of 2 master bedrooms with en-suite facilities and 2 twins with
shared bathroom. The fifth bedroom has been converted into a kids den which
will allow the adults and children to enjoy their own space on those balmy
Floridian evenings. In addition to the 30ft x 15ft swimming pool and
integrated spa, the house has a fully equipped kitchen and is air
conditioned with ceiling fans throughout.
Lounge/Dining Room is approximately 28ft x 15ft and has been furnished to a
high standard with two sofa’s and a single chair that provides views of the
pool area or if preferred, relaxed viewing of the cable TV with DVD/CD
player attached (a few DVDs are provided). The dining table will seat up to
eight people.
Kitchen and Breakfast Area is adjacent to the lounge and is fully fitted
with an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Breakfast
table and chairs are provided but unless the weather is against you most of
your meals will be taken beside the pool.
The Master Bedrooms (2) are fitted with Queen size beds and both have
en-suite bathrooms, one of which connects directly to the pool area. Walk-in
closets, cable TV and hairdryers are provided in both.
The Twin Bedrooms (2) each has twin beds and large closets. Both have access
to the third bathroom with fitted shower and bath.
The Kids Den has a cable TV with a video recorder/player. There is a good
selection of children’s games and videos to keep the “little ones” occupied
when mum and dad want some peace. Also provided and stored in here are a
highchair, stroller and travel cot (2 bottom sheets and a fleece are
provided).
The Pool and Spa Deck at the rear of the house overlook Conservation Land
and from here you see (binoculars and bird book provided) many of Florida’s
native bird population including cranes, eagles and vultures. The south
easterly facing pool provides for great sunrises and remains shadow free
until late afternoon in winter and early evening in summer. The 30ft x 15ft
pool is between 3ft and 6 ft in depth and is adjacent to a covered lanai
which provides welcome shade from the strong Floridian sun. The spa will
accommodate up to four people and like the pool, can be heated for an
additional charge. To comply with local pool regulations and for the
protection of small children, there is a safety fence around the pool area.
Poolside furniture consists of a large table and eight chairs plus four
comfortable sun loungers to help get those serious tans.
The Garage has been converted into an air conditioned Games Room and
provides Pool, Fuzball and Electronic Darts. There is a utility area off
from the Games Room which accommodates a washing machine and dryer.
The weekly price includes use of all utility services such as power, air
conditioning and cable TV. All towels and linen are provided, including pool
towels. Pool and spa heating is at an additional cost.
